Chicken aalo khameeri paratha


Ingredients for dough
  • Flour 4 cups
  • Instant yeast 1 ½ tbsp
  • Caster sugar 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Egg 1
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Milk powder 2 tbsp
  • Luke warm water as required
  • Green chilies grinded 1 tsp
Ingredients for Filling
  • Potato 2 boiled and mashed
  • Roasted Chicken mince 250 gm
  • Salt ¼ tsp
  • Chaat Masala ½ tsp
  • Coriander leaves few
Method
  • In a bowl add flour, yeast, salt, sugar, green chilies grinded, oil, milk powder, egg, mix well and knead with Luke warm water to form into a soft dough, knead very well, leave to rise for 1 hour until double in volume. 
  • Boil and mash 2 potatoes mix with salt ¼ tsp, chat masala ½ tsp. coriander and green chilies, also mixed in mashed potatoes, bhunna chicken mince, once dough has risen divide into portions.
  • Roll out into dinner plate size roti, place filling in 1 roti, moisten edges with water and cover with another roti, flatten out smoothly.
  • Place them on a baking sheet, bake on a pre heated oven 200 degree C or you can fry in 2 tbsp ghee, serve hot.
